About The Role
You will be responsible for the repairs, maintenance and servicing of a wide range of plant including excavators, trucks, light vehicles and directional drills. You will be required to liaise with workers, management and suppliers. In addition, there will be admin duties including compiling and completing accurate reporting and maintaining records both hard copy and digital.
This is a hands-on role and perfect for anyone looking for a role to make their own.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
Previous experience in a maintenance role
Current driver’s license - MR or higher preferred (or ability and willingness to obtain)
Self-motivation with the ability to work within a team as well as unsupervised
A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
High organisation skills including excellent time management and prioritisation
Strong verbal and written communication skills including computer literacy
A strong commitment to safe work practice and systems
WE WOULD ALSO LOOK FAVOURABLY ON
Small engine knowledge
White Card / CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (or ability and willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR
