We currently have two Plumber positions to fill. We require experienced, qualified and licensed Plumbers but would (for the right candidate) be willing to consider a 3rd or 4th year Plumbing Apprentice.
The role includes all aspects civil, commercial and maintenance plumbing: installing sewer, storm water and water pipes, live tapping of mains, installing new storm water, sewer mains and service connections, construction of manholes and maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Cert 3 (or higher) in Plumbing
Proven relevant work experience
White Card
Current driver’s license (MR or higher highly desirable)
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and relevant standards as well as the ability to understand and adhere to AS:3500 and relevant plumbing codes
A strong focus on safety
Self-motivation with the ability to work within a team as well as unsupervised
A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
Capacity to perform a physically demanding role
Basic iPad / computer literacy

About The Role
You will be responsible for the repairs, maintenance and servicing of a wide range of plant including excavators, trucks, light vehicles and directional drills. You will be required to liaise with workers, management and suppliers. In addition, there will be admin duties including compiling and completing accurate reporting and maintaining records both hard copy and digital.
This is a hands-on role and perfect for anyone looking for a role to make their own.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
Previous experience in a maintenance role
Current driver’s license - MR or higher preferred (or ability and willingness to obtain)
Self-motivation with the ability to work within a team as well as unsupervised
A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
High organisation skills including excellent time management and prioritisation
Strong verbal and written communication skills including computer literacy
A strong commitment to safe work practice and systems
