We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor / Mechanic to join our team.

Plumber
Due to current workloads, we need to recruit additional experienced plumbers to help keep up with the demand – this is where we’re hoping you’ll come in.
YOUR NEW ROLE
All aspects of domestic, commercial and civil plumbing and maintenance
Laying sewer, storm water and water pipes
Live tapping of mains
Installing new water and sewer mains and service connections
Construction of manholes
Maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure
Maintain and control onsite records
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
You’ll have a current plumbing licence (with a minimum of Cert 3 in Plumbing) and at least three (3) years’ experience in a similar position as a qualified Plumber. You’ll have your White Card and a current drivers licence (Medium Rigid or higher would be very advantageous).
You’ll have strong attention to detail, the ability to read and understand construction drawings and relevant standards as well as the ability to understand and adhere to AS:3500 and relevant plumbing codes. Safety is important to us so strict adherence to Quality, Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management Systems is a must.
We’re a team here at Maintain so in addition to being able to work unsupervised you’ll need to be able to work as part of that team. You’ll have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
As this is a field based position, you’ll need to possess the capacity to perform a physically demanding role.

Leading Hand Operator
Due to increasing workloads, we are currently seeking experienced Leading Hand / Excavator Operators to join our team.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
Collaborate with the Project Manager to meet job specifications and requirements
Supervising and coordinating day to day site requirements
Works delegation within the team
Assist in coordinating plant and materials
Assist to ensure compliance with all safe working policies and practices
Maintain and control onsite records
Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings
Customer and stakeholder holder engagement will also be critical to successful outcomes
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
You’ll have at least three (3) years’ experience operating an Excavator and a proven history of supervising small crews between 4-10. A General Construction Induction (White Card), excavator ticket and current drivers licence (MR or higher, highly desirable) are a must.
You’ll have a strong eye for detail and quality. Safety is important to us so strict adherence to Quality, Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management Systems is non-negotiable.
You’ll be able to prioritise work, manage multiple tasks effortlessly, possess good problem-solving skills and demonstrate astute decision making. You’ll have effective communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate your team. This is a field based role so you’ll also need physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour.

Experience on other plant and equipment
Experience in final trim, topcon, trimble
Experience with maintaining plant and equipment
